In Moldova, a bus crashed on the Chisinau-Kyiv route. As a result of the accident, five citizens of Ukraine were injured. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine.
“Today, in the Drochia region of Moldova, a traffic accident occurred involving a bus traveling from Chisinau to Kiev. As a result of an accident, five citizens of Ukraine received minor injuries,” said by Nikolenko.
According to him, all the victims were taken to the hospital, where they are now receiving the necessary medical care. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also mentioned that there is no threat to the lives of the victims.
“Other passengers continued to transfer to Kyiv via another bus provided by the carrier,” Nikolenko added.
In total, according to the ministry, there were nineteen Ukrainians on the bus.
“The Ukrainian embassy is cooperating with Moldovan law enforcement officials to clarify all the circumstances of the accident and is in constant contact with doctors. After the completion of treatment, the consuls will help our citizens to return to Ukraine,” the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Recall that a bus bound for Kyiv overturned in Moldova. There are 21 people on the bus.
