A Polish court has sentenced pro-Russian nationalist blogger Wojciech Olszanski to 20 months in prison for threatening to kill members of the Sejm, Wirtualne Media reports.
In his speech at a rally against the anti-COVID law, he used direct death threats.
“If they support the bill, they condemn themselves to death, and we make these execution lists … I want to kill them. And why not! Because I am full of happy hatred and I want them to die, Olshansky said then. .
In addition to imprisonment, the court fined him PLN 15,000 (UAH 128,000) for insulting a deputy.
Pro-Russian activist Olshansky is also known for his anti-Semitic stance. He actively promotes anti-Western ideas and preaches discriminatory views.
