The Russian invaders offered or forced the local population to work for them, and also required them to obtain Russian passports.

700 people from Melitopol and the Melitopol region agreed to cooperate with the Russian invaders. On Wednesday, April 5, Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov said on the air of the national telethon.

“If we talk about Melitopol and the region, then 700 people went to cooperate with the enemy,” he said.

Fedorov noted that these people work in schools under the Russian program, in fake taxes, pension funds, etc.

“These 700 people have been examined, there are facts of collaboration, criminal proceedings are being carried out and the suspects will be given,” he said.

Fedorov added that among those who worked in the structure of the city council, no more than 10 people went to the side of the enemy.

Earlier, Fedorov said that the Russian occupation authorities will hold pseudo-elections on the territory of the Zaporozhye region and, in particular, in Melitopol.

We add that earlier the Center for National Resistance reported that the Russians intend to disrupt the Ukrainian resistance in Berdyansk and for this purpose are introducing a permit regime.
