Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki noted that Poland is afraid of the territorial claims of the Russian Federation.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said Poland was ready to build permanent NATO bases to accommodate light units. He said this on May 19 in a speech at the Strategic Ark conference in Warsaw.

“Permanent bases of the allies should be created in the countries of the eastern flag of NATO. Poland is ready to build such bases that will be the place of deployment of light units on a permanent basis,” he said. Morawiecki.

According to him, Poland is afraid of the territorial claims of the Russian Federation.

“Russia should know that we will not give an inch of territory to NATO,” the Polish prime minister said.

Recall that the Baltic countries and Poland are calling for a significant expansion of NATO’s military presence in Eastern Europe.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the Alliance intends to increase its military presence in the Baltic region.
