Within 45 days, 10,000 power lines were restored, some of which were completely destroyed, and approximately 3,000 transformer substations.More than a thousand company specialists and more than 150 emergency repair teams are involved. The company has invested approximately UAH 300 million in restoring power supply to restore power supply for 260,000 families in the Kyiv region affected by the Russian occupation soon, ”he said.

Timchenko recalled that it was planned to restore the power grids in the region before June, but it was done much faster thanks to the involvement of additional emergency repair teams from the Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa regions.

Next, the company plans a second more difficult stage – the restoration of backup resources and more reliable power supply schemes. The cost of the work is estimated at UAH 600 million.

In general, since the beginning of the war, DTEK power engineers have resumed power supply for 1.6 million families in the regions of Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and the city of Kyiv.

It should be noted that the power engineers of DTEK participated in the restoration of the power grids of Ukrzaliznytsia in the Lviv and Kyiv regions.
