The Ukrainian military carried out more than 20 strikes against Russian aggressors and destroyed many important targets, including four electronic warfare (EW) stations. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening summary on Wednesday, April 5.
So, today the Defense Forces aircraft carried out 12 strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers per day. A Russian Ka-52 helicopter was shot down on the eastern front.
In turn, the missile and artillery units hit two command posts, two ammunition depots, two enemy air defense positions and four electronic warfare stations.
In this regard, the Russians launched three missiles and 21 air strikes, carried out more than 35 attacks from the MLRS on the positions of our troops and the civilian infrastructure of the settlements.
The enemy continued to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the directions of Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky – more than 40 attacks of invaders were repelled in one day. The settlements of Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Marinka remained at the center of the conflict. In particular, 15 attacks were repelled near Bakhmut.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged that the situation in Bakhmut is “very complicated.” He named the condition under which the Armed Forces of Ukraine could leave this city.
