The leaders of the Russian Federation and Belarus led the top “unpopular” politicians in Ukraine, which also included Viktor Orban and Xi Jinping.
More than 90% of Ukrainians have a negative attitude toward Russian President Vladimir Putin and the self-proclaimed leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. This is confirmed by the results of a sociological survey by the Razumkov Center, published on April 4.
It was noted that the most popular foreign politicians in Ukraine are former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (87% said they have a positive attitude towards him), Polish President Andrzej Duda (86%) and the head of America’s Joe Biden (83%).
Also, Ukrainians have a positive attitude towards European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen (61%), French President Emmanuel Macron (59.5%), Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (58%), and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (51). %).
The relative majority of respondents are positively assigned to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (50%) and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak (45%).
Negative attitudes towards Putin (97%) and Lukashenko (92%) prevailed.
Also among the “unloved” politicians are Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban (60%), former German Chancellor Angela Merkel (52%), Chinese President Xi Jinping (51%), and former US President Donald Trump (49% ).
The survey was conducted throughout Ukraine. It was attended by 2020 respondents aged 18 and over.
