The company presented a plan for the construction of a temporary training center for the training of specialists in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with Tetra Tech, launched a humanitarian demining project. This was announced on April 4 by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
“We are doing everything to clear the territory of Ukraine from explosive objects: we attract foreign partners as much as possible. An example is cooperation with the American company Tetra Tech,” he stressed.
According to the Deputy Minister of Defense, the company is the main partner of Ukraine in the implementation of the project activities of the US State Department, has extensive experience in the implementation of demining projects in the world and helps Ukraine to develop capabilities its in this direction.
At a meeting with representatives of the department, Tetra Tech presented a project for the construction of a temporary training center, where specialists with advanced experience in demining will train Ukrainian specialists.
Initially, the center will be able to train around 500 specialists per year.
“The uniqueness of the project lies in the ability to focus on the training of our humanitarian demining specialists. A continuous closed training cycle will be created from the first to the highest possible level of EOD-3 +,” said Pavlyuk .
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine approved an action plan for the demining of agricultural land for sowing.
