The attacker in his pseudoscientific work “proves” his hatred of this nationality.
The Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of the Transcarpathian region, who, at the direction of the aggressor, artificially incited anti-Semitic sentiments in the region. This was announced on April 3 by the SBU press center.
It was established that in December of last year, the prisoner secretly applied to the facades of buildings in the center of Uzhgorod inscriptions calling for the killing of Jews. In addition, he sent his pseudoscientific work to the head of the Jewish community. In it, he “justifies” his hatred of this nationality.
Until 2014, the defendant temporarily lived in the territory of North Ossetia, Russia. Currently, SBU officials are investigating the man’s connections to the special services of the Russian Federation.
As a result of searches in the attacker’s house, computer equipment with evidence of the crime and pro-Kremlin literature were found. Clothes stained with paint were seized. Perhaps, the person involved was in it when applying anti-Semitic inscriptions to buildings.
The attacker was reported on suspicion of inciting national, regional, racial or religious hatred and animosity.
It will be remembered that last year the United Jewish Community of Ukraine accused the deputy of the Kyiv City Council of anti-Semitism for his statement about the main Jewish holiday.
