The Metropolitan is suspected of inciting hatred between religions and justifying Russia’s armed aggression, the sources said.

Law enforcement officials have put suspicion on the former governor of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed). RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies on Saturday, April 1.

It is indicated that the Metropolitan is suspected of inciting hatred between religions and justifying the armed aggression of Russia (Art. 161, Art. 436 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Subsequently, Metropolitan Pavel confirmed the information about the appearance of suspicion, and also said that the searches will allegedly be made in his house. The video surfaced on social media.

Remember that for two days the commission of the Ministry of Culture is not allowed in the area of ​​Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The department contacted the police.
