The National Reserve “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” appealed to the Economic Court of Kyiv to remove the obstacles that representatives of the UOC-MP have during the acceptance and transfer of the property of the Lavra.
This was announced today, March 31, in his Telegram channel by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko.
Today, the Commission for the Acceptance and Transfer of State Property of the National Reserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” was again unable to start its work due to the resistance of the UOC-MP, Tkachenko notes. “Therefore, the Reserve turned to the Economic Court of Kiev in order to remove the numerous obstacles that the UOC-MP puts in the way of transferring the property of the Lavra to the lawful owner, the state, in a legal way.
The Minister notes that according to Art. 381 of the Civil Code of Ukraine, the owner of property has the right to demand the removal of obstacles in exercising his right to use and dispose of his property.
We will resolve the situation in a legal way,” he added.
