Explosions in the occupied Crimea have led to a limitation of the number of Russian Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea.
First of all, this is due to the explosions on the railway tracks in Dzhankoy, with which Russia transferred these missiles to the peninsula. Repair work is still going on because the rail link, which allows the enemy to move heavy equipment, has not yet been restored. This was announced on March 31 on the air of the national telethon by the speaker of the operational command “South” Natalia Gumenyuk.
According to her, this is confirmed by the fact that the occupiers keep only one underwater launch vehicle with four Kalibr missiles on board at sea. Gumenyuk notes that the invaders still have some stocks of these missiles.
After the storms subside, the launch vehicles may return, but whether they are equipped, we will carefully monitor this, she noted.
Also, the speaker of OK “South” noted that the occupiers tried to overturn missiles in the Crimea with transport aircraft, but it is still unknown how much this happened and whether they got the bays themselves.
Recall that on March 20, powerful explosions thundered near Dzhankoy in the occupied Crimea, because the peninsula was attacked by drones. As a result, Russian cruise missiles “Kalibr NK” were destroyed during their transportation by rail. “Kalibr NK” are missiles designed for launches from surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
