Argentina began mass deportations of Russians

In a Latin American country, they began to refuse citizens of the Russian Federation to extend their tourist stay.

In Argentina, they began to widely refuse Russians to extend their tourist stay. Dozens of Russian tourists were deported under threat of deportation, Russian media reported on March 31.

It has been noted that the practice of making negative decisions on the extension of so-called tourist stays and refusing to issue residence permits has become more frequent in Argentina’s migration department.

The consulate said they were aware of dozens of situations in which Russians were ordered to leave the country as soon as possible “under the threat of starting a deportation procedure.” Citizens of other countries do not accept refusals.

Argentina’s migration service explained the refusals through the provision of the visa-free travel agreement, according to which Russian citizens can stay in the country without a visa for 90 days.

According to Bloomberg, more than 22 thousand Russians have entered Argentina since 2022, 60% of them have already left the country.

We will remind, earlier in Bali began to take tough measures against the Russians. So, the other day, four citizens of the Russian Federation were deported from Bali for violating the visa regime. Another Russian was exiled for a nude picture on a sacred mountain.
