The special services tracked down another admirer of the collaborator Stremousov. He covered himself with an ID of a journalist of a fake publication – the Kherson gauleiter did the same on the eve of the big invasion of Russia.
41-year-old Alexander Yemelyanov was detained by the special services in Odessa. According to the SBU, he aimed Russian missiles at local electrical substations.
In parallel, the traitor administered pro-Russian telegram channels, in which he dispersed fakes about the situation on the southern front.
In the future, the agent performed additional tasks of his “curator” for the FSB. In particular, he collected intelligence about the locations of the Defense Forces in the region.
In addition, he handed over to the aggressor the coordinates of the local critical infrastructure, including an electrical substation. The occupiers used the relevant information to prepare and carry out targeted missile strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Employees of the SBU located the attacker and detained him while he was carrying out a reconnaissance mission.
During a search at the place of residence of the Russian agent, computer equipment, flash drives and documents confirming his illegal activities were found.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the defendant was informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
