One of the mites is known as the strawberry mite, Phytonemus pallidus. It tends to survive on strawberries and strawberries and lays its eggs along the roots of the plant’s leaves.

The two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae, has also been shown on strawberries. It can also live on other plants, leaving a copper tint on them.
