Is Pam’s “office” game always for Jenna Fisher?
On Monday, “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” the actress shared two personal curiosities suggesting that her decisive role is destiny.
First, Fisher reveals what his father’s name is in real life – Jimmy – as well as John Krasinski’s character, whom he will eventually marry on the show.
Second, he recalled his father’s work at Boise Cascade, “and they did the paper.” He worked on screen at Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper and office supply company.
Presenter Seth Myers enthusiastically asked Fisher if his father was “too proud to find a job at a fictional paper company.”
He remembers being given a Dundler Mifflin shirt at Christmas when the show wasn’t very popular. “He wore it and people were like, ‘Oh, is this the company you work for?’ Dander Myflin? And he said, “No, my son got there.” “And then people get confused,” he recalls.
“They have to work back to know that he’s proud of you,” Myers said.
