Doubts About Spam Accounts Could Break the Twitter Deal –

London (AP) – Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said the deal with the acquisition of Twitter will not proceed unless the company presents public evidence that less than 5% of accounts on the platform are fake or spam.

At a technology conference in Miami on Monday, Musk estimated that at least 20% of 229 million Twitter accounts are spam bots, a percentage he says is at the low end of his rating. According to Bloomberg News.
