The minister said that their names have been established and they will have to answer, as will the Russian officials involved.
Ukrainian authorities know the names of Russian so-called “foster parents” and “guardians” of children stolen from Ukraine, and they must answer for their crimes. This was announced on Tuesday, March 28, by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk.
“Removing orphans from Ukraine and adopting them to Russian citizens is illegal and despicable. It is especially despicable when people are also bragging publicly about having adopted child stolen from Ukraine,” Vereshchuk wrote.
He wrote his message in Russian to convey to all Russian so-called “adoptive parents” and “guardians” that sooner or later they will have to answer, like the Russian officials involved.
“Your personalities are not a big secret: neither for Ukrainian nor for international law enforcement agencies. For example, residents of the Moscow region Irina Rudnitskaya, Katerina Trypolets, Denis Trypolets, Mikhail Serikov, Marina Marchenko , etc.,” Vereshchuk wrote.
He added that we are talking about dozens of Russian citizens who have decided that they are allowed to adopt orphans stolen from Ukraine.
Vereshchuk recommended that the Russians not adopt Ukrainian orphans who were illegally released from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
He also demanded that Russian officials hand over to the Ukrainian side all stolen orphans and children deprived of parental care.
As reported, on March 17, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Children’s Ombudsman Maria Alekseevna Lvovo-Belova. They are suspected of involvement in the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.
Later it was reported that seven children taken to Crimea returned to Kherson. In October last year, the occupiers forcibly sent children to Yevpatoria – allegedly for rehabilitation in a children’s camp.
