Milwaukee (AP)-Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings in which a 17-year-old man and two 20-year-old men were killed.
Shooting A night of violence ensued in which 21 people were injured and wounded in three more attacks near the Fiserv Forum near downtown Milwaukee as the Bucks battled the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Playoff Series. These shootings forced authorities to impose a curfew at 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Bax canceled the Fan Clock Party Sunday afternoon 7th important game.
A 21-year-old man died after a shooting between 11th and Rogers Street on Saturday at 11:45 p.m., Fox6 News reported, according to a medical examination in Milwaukee County.
About 40 minutes later, a 17-year-old boy in Milwaukee was killed in a shooting that police say may be related to a theft. The victim had a gun.
The third deadly shooting occurred Sunday, at 2:30 am, between 19th and Lincoln Street. According to police, a 28-year-old local man died.
Police did not release the identities of the victims and no one was arrested in the shooting as of Sunday afternoon.
During the hunt, an 11pm curfew was enforced, requiring all people over 20 years old to leave the streets.
All those injured in Friday’s hunt on the arena blocks are likely to survive. At least 11 people were arrested in connection with the shootings.
