The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Belarus is losing its sovereignty, becoming dependent on the Kremlin’s military plans and contributing to the increased risk of an armed conflict in the Baltic region.
“Together with its Euro-Atlantic partners, Lithuania will decide how to respond to the militaristic plans of the Russian and Belarusian regimes. As one of the response measures, Lithuania will call for the adoption of new sanctions,” the ministry added .
