The invaders did not leave New Kakhovka. However, it is known about the rotation of forces and partially withdrawn units.
Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, are collecting stolen goods and shipping them out, likely indicating plans to leave the settlement soon. This was said by the spokesperson of the Operational Command South Natalia Gumenyuk, reports Channel 24.
“It was a complex of native signs when they were preparing for our active actions to eliminate the occupation of the right bank. We know how they are inclined to traditions, let them stay with them. If they have begun to gather, do not they stopped,” he said.
The spokesperson of OK Yug added that until now, the invaders are not leaving either Novaya Kakhovka or any other settlement. They continue to dress in civilian clothes and mask their positions. However, it is known about the rotation of forces and partially withdrawn units.
“They need additional forces in the east, that is why they are withdrawing some parts. They do not see the prospects for the rapid development of events in the south now, so they feel more or less calm and may plan their activities at a measured pace,” said Gumenyuk.
Ukrainian defenders continue to liberate a 30-kilometer strip of the left bank. The Russians continued to capture the settlements.
“Belozerka was stoned in the morning. There are wounded civilians with severe injuries, they are receiving medical assistance. There is a lot of destruction of private farmsteads. We ask people who heard us to go to the shelter,” stressed Gumenyuk .
Recall that on March 22, in the evening summary, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders had completely left New Kakhovka. However, the military soon denied their own report, noting that the information about the Russians leaving the city “was published due to the misuse of available data.”
