The Elysee Palace intends to receive the British monarch “on more suitable conditions for it.”
Paris and London have decided to postpone the visit of British King Charles III to France due to protests in the country. It was announced on March 24 at the Elysee Palace.
It is noted that the decision to postpone the official visit of the King of Great Britain was made by the governments of the two countries after a telephone conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Charles III, which took place on Friday.
The Elysee Palace indicated that the visit was postponed to “receive His Majesty on conditions consistent with our friendships.”
It will be remembered that Charles III was supposed to visit France on March 26-29, but mass protests with riots against the pension reform have been going on in the country for several days.
