Which Russia has left a military and economic margin of safety, which allows the aggressor country to continue to wage war against Ukraine, Vadim Skibitsky, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, predicted.
Lithuanian military intelligence says that Russia’s reserve is two years. We also say that they can wage war for another 2023 – 2024 at the most – that’s it. This is if we are talking about a conventional war. And if sanctions are tightened, then this stock will be even smaller,” Skibitsky believes.
The representative of the GUR also indicated how many Shahed kamikaze drones remained with the Russians.
According to our calculations, they still have a stock of those batches that they received at the end of last year and at the beginning of this. They probably still have about 200 units of “Shaheds”. But they do not use them as massively as before. This confirms that they do not have a large stock – they are saving, – Skibitsky noted.
In total, the Russian army physically used about 800 units out of the contracted 1,750 Iranian drones.
Recall that the intervals between massive shelling of Ukraine have become longer, and the threat of an offensive from Belarus, which has been talked about all last year, is less. The Main Intelligence Directorate believes that the Russians are changing tactics and adapting to the new conditions of the war.
