The “big” Russian offensive brought almost no significant results to the enemy. This was reported in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Vadim Skibitsky, the Russians overestimated their capabilities and were faced with the inability to conduct an offensive in several directions at the same time.
Skibitsky, in a conversation with RBC-Ukraine, emphasizes that now the Russian army has the only goal – to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. However, they do not have much success, because this requires planning and conducting large-scale strategic operations.
According to the representative of the GUR, the general bravado of the occupiers was based more on misinformation and a general overestimation of their own capabilities. In reality, they were faced with the impossibility of attacking in several directions at the same time.
