Law enforcement officers of the Kharkiv region identified the Russian commander, who opened aimed fire at the car with his spouses. The driver saved the Ukrainian drone.
In the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office, a Russian serviceman was notified in absentia of suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 15, part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 438) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As the investigation found out, on June 23, 2022, a couple from Donbass drove their own car to the city of Bakhmut to evacuate elderly sick parents. Near the village of Bolshaya Kamyshevakha, Izyumsky District, their car was shot at by the Russian military.
The woman tried to save the man, but the invaders continued shelling. Currently, the Ukrainian military carried out aerial reconnaissance and recorded the shooting of the car.
To save the family, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent a drone with a note “Follow me”. The woman noticed the copter and followed it. So she was able to save her life and the life of a man. The drone took her to the location of the Ukrainian military.

During the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers conducted more than 15 expert studies. The type of weapons used by Russian freaks in the shelling of a car was established, and the Russian military was also identified. This is a resident of Moscow, commander of a motorized rifle unit of the Russian Armed Forces. He led the BMP and used a heavy machine gun to shoot the car with the spouses.
Thanks to radio interception, it was established that during a telephone conversation with his wife, the suspect, laughing into the phone, said: “I killed a man today.”
