President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law restoring transparency in defense procurement. It was reported on the website of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, March 21.

At the same time, purchases without using an electronic system are allowed if the amount is less than 200 thousand hryvnias.
Recall that on February 24, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading the bill No. 8381 on introducing transparency in the defense procurement system. The document was supported by 264 representatives of the people.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers approved several changes related to public procurement. Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said the department’s specialists will be trained at the NATO Support and Supply Agency.
