Donald Trump hinted early Saturday that he will be arrested Tuesday on charges related to the $130,000 he allegedly quietly paid adult actor Stormy Daniels.
The former president also called on supporters to “protest, take back our nation” – in what commentators interpreted as a call for violence – in the venomous rant on his Truth Social platform.

On Friday, Trump’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, confirmed that the former president would surrender to authorities without complications if indicted.
“If it gets to that point, we’ll go through a normal process,” Tacopina told Insider.
“There will be no confrontation in Mar-a-Lago with the Secret Service and the Manhattan district attorney’s office,” the lawyer — who went viral this week for trying to get a piece of paper from Ari Melber. . News, referring to Trump’s Florida resort and the New York County District Attorney.
The potential charges against Trump center on her alleged 2006 relationship with Daniels and allegations that he paid her — through a shell company set up by her former lawyer and longtime fixer Michael Cohen — in exchange for her silence before by the 2016 elections.
Trump has repeatedly called the investigation by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is reportedly looking into whether the payment violated state law, a “witch hunt.”
Meanwhile, Cohen spent a year in prison for his role in the payment, which violated campaign finance laws. And unsealed court documents in the Cohen case prove that Trump was involved in the payments.
If Trump is indicted, it would be the first time a former president has been indicted.
