Prime Minister of Latvia Krisjanis Karins arrived in Kyiv on an official visit. He reported it to Twitter Thursday morning, March 16th.
“I am visiting Kyiv to reaffirm Latvia’s unwavering support for Ukraine as long as necessary,” Karin wrote.
He also noted that Ukraine’s victory in the war with Russia is important for a free Europe.
Krisjanis Karins published a photo from the railway station in Kyiv, where he arrived by train.
Earlier, Karin assured that Ukraine will receive fighter jets from Western partners – this is only a matter of time. He also explained why Ukraine should be accepted into NATO after the war.
It will be remembered that on March 3, the President of Latvia Egils Levits visited Ukraine.
