A 60-year-old Nigerian passenger died on board an aircraft en route from Delhi to Doha.
The plane of the private Indian airline IndiGo made an emergency landing in Pakistan due to the death of a passenger on board. This was reported on March 13 by BBC News.
It is learned that the incident took place on an aircraft with 163 passengers on board, which flew from Delhi to Doha on Monday morning.
The plane diverted to Karachi after the pilot reported that the Nigerian passenger was “not breathing and had no pulse.”
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority clarified that the 60-year-old man’s health deteriorated during the flight, after which the captain contacted the Karachi air traffic controller and requested to call a doctor and an ambulance.
After the examination, the airport medical team declared the passenger dead.
The news service noted that relations between India and Pakistan are tense: they have fought three wars since 1947. There are currently no direct flights between the countries.
As reported Correspondent.net, in January, a Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara crashed in Nepal. Aboard the ship were 68 passengers and four crew members, all of whom died.
