“After the confirmation by the Ukrainian side of the fact that the Ukrainian soldier killed by the Russian military was Alexander Matsievsky, the MFAEI strongly condemns the killing of a Moldovan citizen, an action that can be qualified as a war crime and a gross violation of international humanitarian law,” the report said.
The ministry also confirmed Moldova’s firm position, condemning the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine. Our country remains committed to supporting Ukraine in its efforts to return the region to peace and stability.
