The head of state called the leadership of the Russian Federation cowards trying to hide the truth behind the shelling in Ukrainian communities.
President Volodymyr Zelensky on the night of Thursday, May 12, delivered a video message on the results of the 78th day of the war in Ukraine.
Thus, the head of state said that Russia’s defeat in the war it unleashed against Ukraine was obvious around the world, but the government of the aggressor country was afraid to admit it.
“They are cowards. And they are trying to hide the truth behind missile, air and artillery strikes,” the president said.
Separately, he said all Russian commanders giving orders for shelling were “terminally ill.”
The Ukrainian leader assured that everything destroyed by the occupiers would be rebuilt by Ukraine.
“All the hospitals destroyed by the occupiers, all the schools, all the universities they bombed, all the houses, bridges, businesses – we will restore everything,” he specified and added that the work of the Ukrainians was fought until our goals are achieved.
It will be recalled that Zelensky had earlier said that the war waged by Russia against Ukraine would end when Ukraine returned all its territories and citizens.
