The 95th Academy Awards ceremony took place in the United States of America on the night of March 12-13.
In Los Angeles, announced the names of the winners who fought for awards in 23 categories. This was reported on the website of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
“Oscar” for the best film went to the film “Everything always and at the same time.” Michelle Yoh, who played in this film, was awarded for the best female role. The film about the war “All Quiet on the Western Front” received four awards. In particular, the “Oscar” was awarded for the best music and best cinematography.
For his role in the film “The Whale” Brendan Fraser won an Oscar. He won in the nomination “Best Actor”.
The big-budget blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water won the Best Visual Effects category.
Pinocchio Guillermo del Toro was named the best animated feature film last year.
The Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay went to Talking Women, based on the novel of the same name by Canadian writer Miriam Teive.
The song Naatu Naatu, which sounded in the RRR tape, was recognized as the best soundtrack.
The Oscar in the Best Documentary category went to Navalny, a film about Russian politician and opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
The Ukrainian film House of Splinters was also presented in this nomination.
Recall, on March 11, the Committee for the National Taras Shevchenko Prize of Ukraine announced the names of the winners. The winners were the poetess Ekaterina Kalitko, the performers of the group “Horea Cossack”, literary critic Mikhail Nazarenko, journalist Vitaly Portnikov and director Irina Tsylik.
