Due to network restrictions, with an increase in consumption during the day, emergency shutdowns are possible in the Kharkiv region.
In Ukraine, the restoration of the energy system continues after 15 massive missile attacks by the Russian Federation and 18 drone attacks. At the same time, emergency shutdowns are possible only in the Kharkiv region, Ukrenergo reported on Sunday, March 12.
It was indicated that yesterday in the regions of Zhytomyr and Kharkiv, power engineers restored the power supply to household consumers. Emergency shutdowns were applied in Kharkiv this morning due to overloading of the equipment in operation. Due to network restrictions, with an increase in consumption during the day, emergency shutdowns are possible in the Kharkiv region.
At the same time, electricity consumption in the country as a whole decreased compared to last weekend. There is no limit.
“The amount of electricity produced in the system is sufficient to cover the needs of all consumers,” assured Ukrenergo.
It will be remembered that on the night of March 9, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. As a result of the attack, power facilities were damaged in eight regions. In some regions there were blackouts, there were problems with water supply and heating.
