The department reported that on the night of March 10, the police stopped a vehicle driven by a drunken mayor.
“To block the legal request of the police, the head of the urban settlement tried to hit the employees with an ax. One of the police officers neutralized the suspect, snatching the ax from his hands,” the investigative committee reported.
The Investigative Committee did not name the brawler, but Russian media wrote that it was Yevgeny Kirgizov.
