Released last Friday, the 10th, fans have already pointed out new hints in the songs of ‘Endless Summer Vacation’
After the success of ‘Flowers’, Miley Cyrus ended the anxiety of fans by releasing the long-awaited ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, their new studio album. With 13 songs and different rhythms, Cyrus’ album became one of the most talked about subjects on social networks last Friday, the 10th.
Just like ‘Flowers’, in which Miley talks about breaking free after a failed romance, the singer’s fans seem to have found new hints in the lyrics of the songs from the album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’.
1. Flowers
The first theory was raised by fans even before the release of ‘Flowers’. That’s because the song was released on January 13, the date that also marks Liam Hemsworth’s birthday., ex-husband of the singer. Miley and Liam divorced in 2019 after nearly a decade of dating. Furthermore, in the song, Cyrus sings, “We were good, we were gold. The kind of dream that can’t be sold. We were right until we weren’t. We built a house and watched it burn.”
The excerpt draws attention, after all, in 2018 Miley and Liam lost their home for a forest fire, that destroyed countless US homes. In an interview with Howard Stern in 2020, Miley spoke about the impact the episode had on her marriage.
“We had been together since we were 16. Our house burned down. We were, like, engaged — I don’t know if we really thought we were going to get married, until we lost our house in Malibu. 2. ‘Jaded’
On the album’s second song, ‘Jaded’, Cyrus surprises fans with her husky voice and melancholy beats, which are nonetheless aggressive. In the lyrics of the song, the artist rescues the feeling of regret and also talks about ‘lost opportunities’ that she witnessed, because your partner felt ‘tired’ (‘jaded’). “I don’t want to call and talk too much. I know it was wrong but I never apologized. Now I’ve had time to think about it. We’re so much older and the bone is too big to bury,” Miley starts the song.
Miley also sings about her partner not being “willing” to take the blame and always “going too far” for not knowing how to deal with turmoil.
“You ain’t even willing to look at your part/You just jump in the car and drive to the bar until it’s foggy/Don’t know when to stop, so you go too far/I don’t know where you are and I stay in the dark until I’m worried , and it hurts me,” she sings.
It was enough for fans to believe that the lyrics are a hint at the singer’s relationship with Liam, however, nothing has been confirmed by the singer. “Liam ended up with miley and she is still mourning him in jaded, anyway, nobody is perfect”, wrote an internet user.

3. ‘Muddy Feet’
Another song that has not gone unnoticed by fans is ‘Muddy Feet’. In partnership with singer Sia, Cyrus sings about smell a perfume that doesn’t belong to her on your partner, thus pointing to a betrayal.
“And you smell like perfume I didn’t buy/Now I know why you’re drawing the blinds/Get out of my house,” sings Miley. “I don’t know who the fuck you think you’re messing with/Get out of my house with that shit/Get out of my life with that.”

Miley also sings in the lyrics about her partner “coming back with her feet dirty” and that she now needs to “have to do something [coisa] about this”.
4. ‘Wildcard’
With less aggressive lyrics than the songs mentioned above, in ‘Wildcard’ Miley vents in melancholy about how to love your partner ‘is never enough’.
“Do you wanna play house?/ I could be your wife/ Go meet your mother in a dress that’s too tight/ Maybe I could stay and not break your heart/ But don’t forget, baby, I’m a joker,” sings Miley in the first part of the song.

“I love it when you hold me / But loving you is never enough / And don’t wait for me / ‘Cause forever may never come,” Cyrus continues in the song.
5. ‘Wonder Woman’
The last song on the list needs no hints. In an interview shown during the Disney+ special, Cyrus revealed the inspiration behind ‘Wonder Woman’ (‘Wonder Woman’). The penultimate song on the disc is inspired by her mother, Tish Cyrus, and grandmother, Loretta Finley, who passed away in 2020.
“I wrote this song after my mother lost her mother. My Mami (Loretta) and I were really close and she ran my fan club. If you got an autograph from my fan club in 2008-2018, it was probably my grandma” Miley explained. “It’s about the generational strength and wisdom that my grandmother gave my mother. It’s built into my DNA, so almost all of us feel like a woman in some way. A Wonder Woman.”
In the song, Miley talks about a strong and courageous woman, who never breaks down, even in the face of difficult situations.
“When her favorite record is playing and she’s dancing in the dark/She can’t stop her eyes from getting teary, teary/She makes sure no one’s around to see her fall apart/She wanna be the one that never does,” he sings. Miley in music.
