The head of the Volchansky district court of the Kharkiv region was notified of the absentia of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the judge entered into an agreement with the representatives of the Russian Federation, which occupied the city of Volchansk, Chuguevsky district, and contributed to the creation of the so-called “judicial body of the Russian Federation”: he called for to judges and staff to take positions in illegal “judicial bodies.”
“During the meeting, the chairman of the court also stressed that it is possible to receive financial assistance in the amount of 10 thousand Russian rubles from the representatives of the authorities occupying the Russian Federation for the administration of justice in the conditions of war.In addition, the suspect mentioned that the Russian military is ready to cooperate and provide assistance in the functioning of the “judicial body of the Russian Federation” and not to pose any threat.
