The event will feature several news for the female scene, in addition to celebrating Anitta’s arrival in Battle Royale
As part of events held to commemorate the arrival of anitato Free Fire, Garena announced last Wednesday, the 11th, the Patroa Cup, a new women’s championship in the modality. The competition has the global pop artist herself as godmother and will be attended by teams made by the community and guests.
The official broadcast will be carried out on open TV through RedeTV!, in addition to the official channels on YouTube, BOOYAH!, and TikTok. The Patroa Cup will take place directly from Garena’s studios, in São Paulo, and will feature presentations by Camilota XP, narration of accelerate, comments from Isaiah 13 and participation of the reporter OpzMila.
The matches of the 1st phase of the competition will take place on May 28 and 29, and June 4 and 5, with the participation of 24 teams, of which 18 will be made up of guests. The other vacancies will be filled by community teams, which can apply until May 16, through the website.
A total of 432 teams will compete in the tryouts, and only the six that qualify will join the 18 invited teams. The teams will be divided into two groups, which will compete with each other for five takedowns a day. The two best teams from each group qualify directly for the grand final, which is scheduled to take place on June 12.
During the semifinal on June 11, the teams that are between 3rd and 8th place in each group (12 teams in total) will face each other to decide who will go on to the final. The eight best placed in the semifinals proceed to the last stage.
The two teams that achieve the best placements at the end of the championship will guarantee direct access to the COPA FF, which starts on June 22nd. The winning team will be able to take home a trophy and a cash prize of R$10,000.
FF CUP
With the theme Corrida do Milhão, the new edition of COPA FF starts on June 22nd, and will have its final on July 2nd. The competition will be broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays on RedeTV! during the qualifying round, as well as official channels on YouTube, BOOYAH!, and TikTok during weekdays.
In total, 24 teams will compete for the prize of one million reais. In the tournament, the 18 teams classified for the series A of the Brazilian Free Fire 8 League will be called together with four other invited teams, — Nhanha and Divinéia (winning teams of the Favela FF Cup), and Los baianos and Inco Gaming (champion and vice of the LBFF Series C). The first two teams of the Patroa Cup close the guest list.
