The OPU assessed the possibility of further defense of Bakhmut

The enemy does not abandon attempts to surround Bakhmut with subsequent access to the administrative borders of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Ukraine and the Armed Forces have enough resources to defend Bakhmut from Russian invaders. This was announced on Friday, March 10, by Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, in an interview with Le Figaro.

“Today, we still have enough resources to stay there. We can also conduct small counter-offensives in the vicinity. But tactical changes must take place,” he said.

According to Podolyak, the decision of the Ukrainian commanders to stay in Bakhmut was based on the resources available, their delivery, the military risks and the strategic importance of the target held.

“The perception of the truth of Bakhmut is also affected by the attitude of the media towards him: according to the Russian media, the city has already been captured,” he added.

Remember, the commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky spoke about the situation in Bakhmut.
