Zelensky appointed deputy commander of the National Guard

The presidential decree on the appointment of Oleg Sakhon appeared on the website of the head of state on Thursday, March 9.

President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Major General Oleg Sakhon as Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine. The corresponding order was published on the website of the head of state on Thursday, March 9.

Sahon served as head of the National Guard’s Eastern Operational-Territorial Association. He participated in the defense of Kharkov from the Russian military in 2022.

Recall that earlier the president fired Ruslan Dzyuba from the post of deputy commander of the National Guard.

In addition, the head of state carried out a number of personnel changes in the Security Service of Ukraine.
