Polish special services were involved in the attack on the Russian A-50 aircraft at the Machulishchi airfield, the KGB of Belarus said.
The KGB of Belarus announced the involvement of Polish special services in the attack on the Russian A-50 intelligence aircraft at the military airport in Machulishchi. A KGB operative said this, Belta reports.
According to him, this is proven by the fact that several people “from the so-called fugitives currently on the territory of Poland” were involved in the attack.
“These people are involved in channels for organizing the delivery of weapons, drones on the territory of Belarus, ensuring the entry of a terrorist into the country, preparing and implementing routes for his departure,” said KGB operative.
It will be remembered that on March 7, the head of the ruling regime of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, for the first time confirmed an explosion at Machulishchi airport near Minsk, where a Russian A-50 aircraft was destroyed.
He also told his version of what happened to the “Ukrainian saboteur”. Lukashenka accused the SBU and the CIA of “attempted sabotage” in Machulishchi. In addition, Lukashenka used profanity against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Foreign Ministry called Lukashenka’s accusations insinuations aimed at justifying his support for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian A-50 aircraft in Machulishchi was damaged by Belarusian partisans, who safely left Belarus.
