The State Border Service released a video recording of a meeting with the defenders of Ukraine, who returned home today as part of another prisoner exchange.
A large exchange of prisoners: 130 of our defenders, among them – 23 border guards. Most of the dismissed were taken prisoner in Mariupol. The rest of the rescued fought in the Donetsk and Lugansk directions, the report says.
The State Border Service added that 11 fighters from the Donetsk Border Detachment and 12 from the Mariupol Marine Guard Detachment returned to Ukraine.
Recall that on March 7, Ukraine returned home 126 defenders and four defenders. These are the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guardsmen, border guards, GOST. Among them are 87 defenders of Mariupol, 71 of which are from Azovstal. Also, 35 defenders were captured in the area of Bakhmut and Soledar.
