The explosion itself was heard in different parts of Krasnodar and in the village of Novaya Adygea.
On social networks, it was suggested that it took place on the territory of the flight school, because immediately after the “applause” a thick column of smoke rose there, the footage of which was actively transmitted by local Telegram channels.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations tried to “calm the citizens” in a commentary to news outlets: the agency claimed that “a fire broke out in the field.”
Local officials have yet to comment on what happened in the city.
As already reported, a video of explosions at a military airport in the Russian Yeysk, Krasnodar region, was posted on the network.
In addition, on the night of February 28, explosions and fires occurred at an oil depot in Tuapse in the Krasnodar Territory. The base is located on Industrialnaya Street, it is also where the facility of Kubannefteprodukt, a subsidiary of Rosneft, is located.
