Animated film “Mavka. The Forest Song” was released on March 2 in wide national distribution.

The cartoon was created by the Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group) with the support of the State Film Agency, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Cinema distribution is carried out by FILM.UA Distribution and Kinomaniya.
The project has been created since 2015 based on Lesya Ukrainka’s Forest Song and adapted to the genre of family animation. The cartoon is based on images from folk myths and legends. “Mavka. The Forest Song” demonstrates the boundless Ukrainian forests, which have been hiding many secrets and mysteries for a long time. Unusual creatures live here, guarding their world invisible to the human eye.
Pre-premiere screenings of the film “Mavka. The Forest Song” has already been held in Lviv and Kyiv.
