The Ukrainian military, border guards and intelligence commented on the events in the Bryansk region of Russia.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct military operations exclusively on the territory of Ukraine, and what is happening on the territory of the aggressor country is “resistance of the local population to Putin’s terrorist regime, non-compliance with fire safety measures, or other reasons beyond the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” This was stated at the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reports “Babel”.
In particular, messages on the Internet about the events in the Bryansk region are a daring Moscow provocation, the military noted.
The State Border Service of Ukraine said that the situation on the northern Ukrainian-Russian border is under control, although the enemy is shelling the border areas daily. GNSU speaker Andriy Demchenko commented to Ukrayinska Pravda that the fighters monitor the entire border line and carry out their tasks.
The speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andrei Yusov, in a commentary to the Public, said that the events in the Bryansk region are an internal confrontation between Russian citizens.
Meanwhile, the “Russian Volunteer Corps” stated that it was not the “Ukrainian DRG”, but its soldiers, who entered Russian territory on March 2 to show that free Russian people with weapons in their hands can fight the Putin regime.
Recall that on March 2, Russian media and authorities announced “Ukrainian saboteurs” who penetrated the Bryansk region and blew up an electrical substation and a gas station in the remote village of Sushan. It was stated that the Russian army is fighting with “saboteurs”, and the number of DRGs is from 40 to 50 people.
