Moscow intends to extend the land bridge from Donbass to Crimea and further west to connect it to Transnistria.

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to increase the land corridor towards Russian -occupied Transnistria, as well as gaining control of the Ukrainian coast of the Black Sea. This was said by the head of US National Intelligence Avril Haynes in a briefing.

According to him, Moscow intends to increase the land bridge from Donbass to Crimea and further to the west to connect it with Transnistria. This means the complete withdrawal of Ukraine from the Black Sea.

Haynes also noted that in order to develop such a land link with Transnistria, the Russian Federation would have to declare mobilization in the country.

It will be recalled that earlier the General Staff reported that troops in Pridnestrovie were on alert.
