The agency noted that Ukraine does not intend to surrender its territory and will fight for every city, which, according to analysts, will prolong the conflict, even until the end of 2023.
“The continuation of peace talks is not yet possible – Russia is not ready to leave the territory of Ukraine, and Ukraine is not ready for territorial losses. The signals sent by Russia about its readiness to continue the negotiations can be considered a bluff,” the experts said, adding that any “truce” Moscow would use to regroup troops and increase its forces for the offensive.
Intelligence also predicted that the Kremlin would continue to threaten the world with nuclear weapons and would try to disrupt the Western arms supply chain to Ukraine.
At the same time, Latvia believes that Russia’s nuclear blackmail is limited to mere threats.
