The restoration of the infrastructure of the territories liberated from the Russian occupiers continues.
Since the beginning of the massive invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 1003 communities have been de-occupied, in 70% of them the work of local authorities has resumed. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko at a briefing on May 10.
The restoration of the infrastructure of the territories liberated from the occupiers continues. In the de -occupied territories – now it is 1003 settlements – the work of the humanitarian headquarters of regional military administrations and the State Emergency Service has been launched, – he said.
According to him, demining has already been carried out in 224 settlements. Vehicle communication was restored by 70%, the railroad – by 42%.
In addition, gas supply was restored to 650 communities, electricity – to 83%of liberated cities and villages, water supply and drainage – to 60%, gas stations – to 49%, mobile communications and Internet services were restored in 720 communities.
Tymoshenko also noted that banks operate 300 de-occupied settlements, and Ukrposhta continues to provide its services to nearly 800 settlements.
