In the temporarily occupied Crimea, pro-Ukrainian activists are turning the military symbols of the Russian occupiers – the letter Z – into a yellow and blue hourglass.
The indefinite action “The time of freedom is approaching” was launched by the Crimean cell of the powerful Yellow Ribbon Resistance Movement, operating in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Activists are redrawing the Z symbol left by the Russians on the streets of occupied cities and villages on a blue and yellow hourglass.
The blue and yellow hourglass that began to appear on the peninsula is our warning to the occupiers that they have little time left to leave the Ukrainian territories,” said the initiator of the Yellow Ribbon.
Activists call on all Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to carefully join the action. Just a few days later, the modified Russian Z symbols were already fixed in Yalta, Simferopol, Sevastopol, Saki and other settlements of the peninsula.
Transformed Russian military symbols also appear in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. In particular, the hourglass has already been seen in New Kakhovka, Melitopol and Berdyansk.
