Citizens of Ukraine can now come and stay in Georgia without a visa for a full two years.
Georgia has extended the visa-free stay of Ukrainians on its territory to two years. Georgia Online reported this on Monday, February 27.
It was noted that the government adjusted the criteria, which allows citizens of Ukraine to enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the country for a whole year.
According to the amendments, citizens of Ukraine now have the right to enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the country for a full two years.
Recall that earlier the Ukrainian Embassy in Georgia said that it does not rule out the possibility of evacuation of Ukrainians from the country if they are in danger after the restoration of direct air communication between Georgia and the Russian Federation and the massive -flow of Russians.
At the same time, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili opposed the restoration of air traffic with the Russian Federation and called for stricter conditions for the stay of Russians in the country. Earlier, he said that he does not rule out the revision of the visa-free regime in Russia against the background of the influx of Russians into the country.
