An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred on the night of February 27 in Ukraine.
Tremors were recorded at 3.15 in the Transcarpathian region near the village of Velyka Dobron, 19 km west of the city of Mukachevo. The earthquake was at a depth of 2 km. According to calculations, the earthquake does not pose a threat to the population, although, according to the classification, it is classified as highly tangible. This is evidenced by the data of the Main Center for Special Control.
An earthquake is felt inside a building by many people, outdoors by a few. People are waking up, but no one is afraid. The vibrations are similar to the concussion formed by a heavily loaded car, the center noted.
According to experts, during such earthquakes, shaking of windows, doors and dishes, creaking of floors and walls is possible. The furniture may start to shake. Hanging objects loosen easily; liquid in open markets fluctuates slightly. There is also a noticeable push in standing still cars.
Recall that on February 6, powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.8 and 7.5 on the Richter scale swept across southern Turkey and northern Syria, they led to the death of tens of thousands of people. In addition, as a result of tremors, the Anatolian Plate shifted about three meters southwest of the Arabian Plate.
